DESCRIPTION:The Mark Antonich Trio consists of members Ken Kovach on electric bass\, Pat Rush on drums\, and Mark Antonich on guitar. A highly versatile group\, they play many styles of music from jazz to rock to country to Jimmy Buffet. The trio is a side project for everyone in the group. \nKen Kovach attended the Duquesne University School of Music and studied trombone with Dan Poupard and Matty Shiner. He played in the jazz bands and concert bands. \nKen holds down the bass chair with Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners and freelances with many local musicians. He also has performed with national acts including Ben E. King\, the Drifters\, the Jersey Boys\, Four Aces\, and the Platters. \nPat Rush resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of the Duquesne University School of Music. He is a long time veteran of Pittsburgh’s music scene\, having played drums with some of the region’s most recognizable names which include Metro\, Blind Date\, Nancy McKeen Buzz Machine!\, and Gone South.  Rack-it\, Flight Risk. \nPat has been influenced by everyone he has ever played with. He taught drums and percussion privately for many years\, and credits Pittsburgh drum legend Tom La Flame as his mentor and inspiration. \nMark has worked with Ken and Pat in many other bands and projects. This is why they have such a wide repertoire of music to play. Mark also graduated from Duquesne University with a Master’s degree in Music Theory. He also graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood\, California. \nWhile studying there\, Mark was voted one of the outstanding students of the year. Los Angeles studio guitarist\, Tommy Tedesco presented him with a brand new Ovation guitar as his award. In Phoenix\, Arizona… \nMark also had the opportunity to attend and perform in master classes with jazz guitar legends\, Howard Roberts\, Herb Ellis\, and Barney Kessel.

DESCRIPTION:David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach \nDavid and Bob met on a Philadelphia Folk Festival Workshop Stage in 2002. Over the next eight years they would come across each other at festivals\, conferences and other music venues. These chance meetings eventually convinced them that working together could create something very special. Since 2010 they have been doing exactly that at festivals\, clubs\, house concerts and more. They currently perform across the US and in Canada. Their live show moves from humorous\, subversive blues\, to delicate balladry\, and then swings back to swampy rock and roll. \n“David Jacobs-Strain and Bob Beach blew me away last summer at Swannanoa. As we say at home\, they knocked my hat in the creek. I can’t envision the audience that could fail to take to them from the first chord and to the last. Hear them yourself as soon as you can”.       Tom Paxton \nDavid Jacobs-Strain is a fierce slide guitar player\, and a song poet from Oregon. He is known for both his virtuosity and spirit of emotional abandon. A gifted multi-instrumentalist\, she is most often found behind the keyboard and has performed the National Anthem for the Pittsburgh Penguins\, Pittsburgh Thunderbirds\, Monster Jam\, and many other local events. She has shared the stage with numerous prominent Pittsburgh musicians and has also appeared in productions at the Geyer Performing Arts Center. \n🎸 Featuring Special Guest Bob Brooks\, a talented multi-instrumentalist and vocalist whose music blends pop\, rock\, jazz\, blues\, funk\, and soul.
