DESCRIPTION:Friday\, February 8\, 2019 Kash Acoustics \nWe are very excited to be visiting Steamworks Creative!! We started our acoustic journey three years ago. My father Richard Jackman and myself Dawn Jackman and have been singing in the family all our lives. We recently added Jose Gonzalez to our duo and have a blast. Our family has always had music in our blood. \nDawn Jackman- Music has always been my passion and it was a perfect time in my life to have created Kash Acoustics! I grew up singing in chorus for my school district for 7 years. I went on singing with my father at a church in Herman and then eventually joined a praise and worship band for another church in Butler making lots of memories.  I have enjoyed singing leisurely in different events throughout my life. I’ve also had the privilege to perform with MTG Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita!  It wasn’t until about three years ago where we started our band that I truly strengthened as a performer and have learned a lot about myself. I would not be here today if it was not for the talent\, love\, and support of my father.  I have always had such a love of singing and performing for others. I continue to challenge and strengthen myself as a singer.\n\nRichard Jackman-  The father of lead singer\, Dawn Jackman. Plays guitar and vocals for Kash.  He has always had a deep passion for music and has been making music ever since he was a kid. Growing up he always sung with his talented family who all had their own musical talents. He has played for various bands in Butler throughout his career playing guitar and vocals with family and friends for many years. He too was a member of the church praise team in Herman. It was here that he wrote and recorded a Christian song along with other contributions for a CD created with friends. He has sung for many weddings and other events. He’s been volunteering once a month for over a year now to sing at the VA in Butler for a church service. Him and his daughter Dawn have grown stronger and taught each other a lot since they’ve started their band together. They can’t wait to continue entertaining people and making memories.\n\nJose Gonzalez–  He started out his music career in Puerto Rico performing for about seven different bands in local Cantinas. Since the age of 16 he’s  been playing many Latin musical instruments and has done some minor recordings. He has also performed in Pittsburgh in his earlier years playing and dancing with Latin music. Currently he is blessing Kash with his Latin flare to add to their acoustic feel performing in local venues and fundraisers. He has made a wonderful addition. Fascinated by the guitar virtuosity of artists like Duane Allman and Jimi Hendrix\, he picked up his first guitar at the age of 10 and hasn’t put it down since. During acoustic shows\, Koz wows the audience with his dynamic soloing ability and sophisticated live loops.
