Erie artist, Monica Lewis, plays gritty voiced acoustic covers of songs by artists such as Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Tracey Chapman, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Joni Mitchell, Jewel, Alanis Morrisette, Adele, Pink, Aretha, Alicia Keys, Evanessence, Heart, and Blondie, as well as the Beatles, Journey, Nirvana, Elton John, Stones, and Allman Brothers. She also features originals from her album, Six String Cure. She is a two-time RockErie Music Award winner for Vocalist of the Year and for Stiletto, the triple female-fronted band she founded. She plays frequently in the tri-state area.
