Becky Shaw
Becky Shaw is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Decatur, Georgia. Becky’s primary instrument is her voice, which has been described as “hypnotically beautiful, present in every word she delivers, her voice emanating strenght one moment and fragility the next” (Paul Sanchez, Offbeat Magazine) In addition to touring as a solo artist, Becky is currently a member of the Americana trio Just Roxie, and Atlanta favorite 70s cover band the Susi French Connection. She also performs in a jazz project with keys player Allen Broyles (Josh Joplin Group). She has shared the stage with many artists including the Indigo Girls, Suzy Bogguss, Shawn Mullins, Caroline Herring, and Michelle Malone. In Becky’s original songs, you will hear the influence of folk, old country, Americana, and a little bit of rock and roll.
